It's been a while since I posted (two years to be precise). But I have huge news that I'd like to share! I have another Anthology coming out! This Anthology took a long time to publish when the world shut down due to COVID. We waited until things would "settle down" to continue, but after a year of waiting, our group, The Rainy Day Writers, decide to go ahead and publish! So let me introduce RAINFALL, A Rainy Day Writers Anthology.
This book came about as an attempt to go through the self-publishing process together. To learn and grow. Some of the Authors were more seasoned than others, but we all learned so much. I feel that this is one of my best stories. This Anthology is now available on Amazon.
My short story, Ascension, is based loosely on Irish Folklore mixed with Fantasy. I am a huge LOTR and Hobbit series fan, and love the idea that we all have our own magic.
The idea of a halfling came from both Folklore and inspiration from my niece. She was born with one ear that pointed and we teased her that she was part elf. So in a way, my story is dedicated to my niece Jaycie.
All the short stories in this Anthology are unique as well as interesting and should appeal to just about any reader. I am pleased to be apart of this wonderful book and am honored to call these Authors friends and peers. A special thanks to Rachel Siemers for seeing this through!!
